Born and raised in San Francisco, I’ve always been curious about how people think, feel, and move through the world. I started college as a design major, later shifting to cognitive science and psychology drawn to the intersection of creativity, research, and human behavior. That curiosity eventually led me from patient care rooms to design labs.
WHERE I'M FROM
Before transitioning into design, I worked as an ophthalmic assistant, helping patients navigate vision challenges with care and precision. That experience shaped the way I approach problems with empathy, attention to detail, and a strong focus on accessibility.
I saw how even small improvements like color-coded contact charts or custom-built reference guides could make life easier for both patients and staff. That mindset now fuels my design practice: creating experiences that are not only functional, but truly helpful, inclusive, and easy to navigate.
BEFORE DESIGN
I'm a UI/UX design fellow at Springboard. With a foundation in healthcare and psychology, I bring empathy and systems thinking to every design decision. My goal is to create intuitive, accessible experiences that meet people where they are whether they’re planning a trip, starting a fitness journey, or just trying to feel less overwhelmed by technology.
WHERE I'M AT NOW
Outside of design, I enjoy running, painting, and exploring new restaurants around the Bay Area. I'm always experimenting in the kitchen and love capturing food through photography. Creative expression and movement keep me energized and grounded both of which influence how I approach design with curiosity and balance.
